For this capsule collection, Petite Ganache has collaborated with Oma Beaufy.
I, Laura mother of Petite Ganache and Oma Beaufy were inspired by references specific to the African continent such as wax or indigo. We designed a unisex, inclusive and seasonless childrenswear capsule collection.
Oma Beaufy, Françoise is from Rwanda and I am from Madagascar and Cameroon.
As many of you know, Petite Ganache started from a simple and private craft that created for my daughter Lou and it became a business in just one and half years and during the pandemic.
Françoise, Oma Beaufy is a self taught seamstress. She found her passion in making clothes with African prints for her loved ones and especially for her grandson Beaufort. (Beaufy is short for Beaufort)
Shortly after we met, a natural and strong connection quickly grew and following an exchange of ideas a collaboration honouring our African roots came to life.
With Oma Beaufy we aim to introduce our own culture with a contemporary spirit through this collection and bring fresh updates to the Africa inspired childrenswear market.
